Ajna

Ajna is the enigmatic project of Chris F, based in New York and active since 2008. Rooted in themes of the paranormal, surrealism, esotericism, and ancient mysteries, Ajna explores sonic territories that are hauntingly beautiful, otherworldly, and deeply unsettling. The project spans obscure dark ambient soundscapes, isolationist drone, and electro-acoustic/industrial elements, often evoking nightmarish and immersive atmospheres. While Ajna’s compositions continue to evolve, the project remains firmly grounded in the true dark ambient tradition. The artist is currently affiliated with the Cyclic Law and Winter-Light labels.
