Laurent Petit

French conductor, instrumentist and composer born in Paris on 10 June 1950. He studied the piano with [a1336955] and composition with [a662254] before turning to a career in conducting and composing. He has composed more than 20 symphonic works and 150 scores for film. Award of the Frnech Record Academy in 1980, and of S.A.C.D. in 1987.
