Exception is a Belgian Drum & Bass DJ and producer known for his melodic, high-energy sound. With a background in classical piano and music theory, he brings strong musicality into his productions—blending emotion with powerful dancefloor impact.

Inspired by artists like Dimension, Sub Focus and Wilkinson, Exception found his lane in melodic DnB after starting out in other genres. Breaking into the Belgian scene wasn’t easy, but his persistence paid off with releases on Crucast, High Tea, and Ridmic.

He has since supported major names such as Andromedik, Used and quickly stepped onto bigger stages—going from Rampage Open Air’s camping stage to the new opain air mainstage, alongside performances at the Tomorrowland (Monstercat hosting), DnB Allstars, and more.

With over a million streams on his Waterfalls bootleg and new music on the way, Exception continues to push his sound forward—driven, melodic, and built for damaging club/festival sound rigs.
