Psybreaks

Psybreaks is a form of Breakbeat which emerged in the mid-1990s from the Psytrance scene. It combines broken beats from the former with the psychedelic nature and squelch sounds from the latter and Goa Trance and it usually sits between 130 and 150 BPM. Early psybreaks emerged from Goa trance and was popularized by Digitalis and later on by Mood Deluxe. It frequently used breakbeat basses and rapid melodic lines from Goa trance.
