Freeform

Freeform hardcore is a subgenre of hardcore techno music. It's roots lay in trance, hardtrance, acid trance and happy hardcore: freeform generally features high tempo (>170BPM) songs that feature a trancy aesthetic, with notable use of acid sounds. It's distinguishing feature from happy hardcore or trancecore is that freeform songs are generally a lot darker, less major-chord.
