Simon Gabriel

Born in the early 90s, Simon Gabriel is a self-taught French composer of electronic music.
Musician & sound engineer with many hats, he has adopted a very personal style
influenced by eclectic sounds and rhythms including as these of Michael Cassette, Pryda,
the Floyds and even J.S. Bach.
At the crossroads between cinematographic & progressive music, his melodies and energy
captivate everyone's attention during his notable appearances on stage, which opened for
him the opening acts of international artists such as Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Lost
Frequencies, Supermen Lovers, AIR & Kavinsky.
After several hits on NewRetroWave over the last ten years and accumulating several
hundred thousand streams on all platforms, he will soon release his first album. Three years
of research and development were necessary to conceive Human Space, a concept album
which brings us into an interstellar, melodic & powerful journey, retracing the great world
history of the conquest of space.

Né au début des années 90, Simon Gabriel est un compositeur français autodidacte de
musique électronique. Musicien & ingénieur du son aux multiples casquettes, il s’est
approprié un style très personnel influencé par des sonorités et des rythmes éclectiques
dont Michael Cassette, Pryda, les Floyds ou même J.S. Bach.
A la croisée des chemins entre musique cinématographique & progressive, ses mélodies et
son énergie captivent l’attention de tous lors de ses passages remarqués sur scène, qui lui
ont ouvert les premières parties d’artistes internationaux tels que Deadmau5, Eric Prydz,
Lost Frequencies, Supermen Lovers, AIRou encore Kavinsky.
Après plusieurs titres plébiscités auprès de NewRetroWave sur les dix dernières années et
cumulant plusieurs centaines de milliers de streams toutes plateformes confondues, il fera
paraitre très prochainement son premier album. Trois années de recherches et de
développements ont été nécessaires pour concevoir « Human Space », un album concept
qui nous plonge dans un voyage interstellaire, mélodique & puissant, retraçant la grande
histoire mondiale de la conquête spatiale.
