Amers is an electronic music project by Jérémy Leclaire, developed as a space for exploration rather than a fixed identity.
The project evolves over time, shaped by context, personal movement and the need to maintain direction without locking into a single form. Sounds, rhythms and structures shift from one phase to another, allowing the music to adapt while preserving a consistent sense of balance.
At its core, Amers is concerned with orientation. Music is approached as a reference point — something stable enough to return to, yet flexible enough to move with uncertainty, tension and change. Rather than offering escape, the project focuses on presence: staying attentive to subtle shifts, gradual transformations and moments where restraint gives way to motion.
Across releases and performances, Amers avoids clear boundaries between introspection and physicality. The music operates in between — creating spaces where time can stretch, pressure can build, and direction can quietly re-emerge.
More than a genre or a defined sound, Amers is an ongoing process, using electronic music as a way to navigate complexity while remaining in motion.
