Edit an Artist

How to update an artist page on the Sway mobile application.

You can update all information on an artist page as long as you are a Manager or Administrator of that artist.

How to open the edit screen

  1. Open the artist page (search for it, or find it via Settings → Manage Entities).
  2. Tap the ⋯ menu in the top bar.
  3. Choose Edit.

Edit only appears in that menu if you have Manager or Administrator rights on this page. The menu's other item, Report a mistake, is there for everyone.

The pencil that used to sit in the top-right corner is gone — the whole app bar moved to floating glass islands. See Getting around the app.

The edit screen's top bar

Three icons sit in the edit screen's top bar, and the primary action sits at the bottom:

ControlWhat it does
Manage access (shield-with-plus icon)Invite team members and set their permission level.
Notifications (bell icon)Follow-notification settings for this page.
Delete (bin icon)Delete the page. Hidden entirely if you are not allowed to.
Save changes (bottom bar)Saves the form. It disappears instead of greying out when you only have read access.
