Codes

The Codes tab of the Shop screen holds the shop's discount codes. A buyer types the code in the cart, before paying. Shop codes never apply to tickets, and ticket coupons never apply to merch: the two are always paid separately.

Open the Codes tab

1. Open the page's Shop screen.
2. Click Codes.

With no code yet, the tab reads No code yet with a New code button.

Create a code

1. Click New code.
2. Type the Code, 3 to 32 letters, digits, dashes or underscores. It is not case sensitive.
3. Under Discount, pick Percentage or Amount and type the value.
4. Under Applies to, keep Every product of the shop, or untick it and tick the products the code covers.
5. Click Save.

The discount of a code limited to some products only applies to those lines of the cart.

Limits

All optional, and empty means none:

• Ends on: the code stops working at that moment.
• Minimum order: the products total the cart must reach.
• Uses: how many orders may use it.
• Items: how many discounted units, across all orders.

A code shows Active, Off, Expired or Used up in the list.

Switch off or delete a code

Untick Active to pause a code. The bin deletes it: a code that was already used is switched off instead, so the orders keep it.
