Settings
The Settings tab of the Shop screen holds what buyers must be told about who sells, how VAT is shown, where returns go, and the shop's own switch. Changes are saved with the bar that appears at the bottom of the screen.
Open the Settings tab
- Open the page's Shop screen.
- Click Settings.
Who sells
Buyers see your legal name and company number, taken from the tax details of Settings → Payouts: the same details as for boost payouts, entered once.
- Contact email for buyers is shown on your products and in the order emails. Buyers reply to it.
- Address shown to buyers: the law asks for a postal address before a purchase. A company's registered address is used when this is empty; a person selling in their own name must give one here, so a home address is never shown by default.
VAT
The prices you type include VAT: Sway adds none.
- VAT registered: buyers read that prices include VAT.
- Small business exemption: buyers read that no VAT is charged.
Commitments
- I sell as a professional: merch sold regularly for a page is a trade, and buyers are told they deal with a professional seller.
- I accept the seller terms: your duties to buyers, among them the withdrawal right, refunds within 14 days and safe products.
Both are needed before the shop can open.
Returns
The return address is where a withdrawn item is sent back; buyers get it in their withdrawal confirmation. Who pays the return is The buyer or You.
Open or close the shop
The last card shows the Sway commission and the Stripe account country.
- Open the shop is available when nothing is missing: every published product goes on sale on your page and your events.
- Close the shop takes every product off sale at once. Orders already paid stay: you still ship them, refund them and answer withdrawals.

Merch on an event
Sell merch on a Sway event page in the web app: the payee promoter's products, a selection or all of them, event exclusives, pickup at the event and the merch stand.
