Merch on an event
An event sells the merch of the promoter that receives its ticket money: the Shop tab of the event chooses which of its products show on the event page, until when, and whether buyers can collect at the event.
Open an event's Shop tab
- Open the event.
- Click Shop in the left sidebar, under Tickets & Shop.
Two tabs: On the event page and Orders and pickups. If no promoter takes the event's payments, the tab says No promoter takes this event's payments and links to the event's payout settings. If the promoter's shop is not ready, it says so and links to it.
Choose what the event sells
- Tick Sell merch on the event page.
- Under What the event shows, pick The whole shop or A selection.
- Tick the products. In The whole shop mode every catalogue product is in by default: you only tick the Events only products you want here.
- The arrows set the order of the ticked products.
- Sales end is optional: empty means one week after the event.
- Save with the bar at the bottom.
Buyers see the products at the bottom of the event page, before the map, and on the thank-you page after buying tickets.
The section shows only while the event is published: on an unpublished event the tab says The event is not published yet.
After the sales end, the tab says The event shop is closed, and the event page keeps the section, greyed: The shop for this event is closed. above the products it sold, none of them for sale. Event exclusives read Sold at the event only. While the promoter's shop still sells, a link leads to it (Mouski's shop, for instance), and so do the products it still offers. The thank-you page after buying tickets no longer shows the section.
Pickup at the event
Tick Buyers can collect at the merch stand. Set Last orders for pickup (until doors, or some hours or days before) and write the Instructions buyers get with their code, for instance Merch stand, left of the bar, from doors. Nothing is posted: the buyer shows a six-character code at the stand.
The merch stand
On Orders and pickups, the Merch stand box finds an order from the buyer's code: type it, click Find, check the items and click Handed over. Case and spaces do not matter. Below it, the orders placed on this event, with the pickups still To prepare first.
Handing over needs the Prepare shop orders permission on the event. Refunds stay on the promoter's own Shop screen.
